Types of Therapy
Individual therapy is an opportunity to work one-on-one with an experienced, trained clinician committed to supporting you in your current life challenges. It is a sacred time for you to slow down, reflect on your life and what changes you’d like to see, and work with your therapist in tailoring and implementing your treatment plan to assist you in living your best life.
Couples and Family therapy can be beneficial in providing improved communication, insight, and a sense of connectedness or intimacy in new, newly blended, and long-term relationships. If you are experiencing challenges or just want to improve your bonds, consider this mode of therapy.
Co-Parenting and Reunification Therapy
Individuals, former couples, and parent-child dyads are often referred by courts or their legal counsel to participate in Co-Parenting or reunification therapy. Often, there are years of dysfunctional communication patterns and styles of interaction that contribute to stress and damage the co-parenting relationship or parent-child relationships. Your therapist will assist you in developing more effective communication patterns, facilitating decision-making, and supporting you in having the best possible relationship with your child or children. The overriding goal is to minimize the need for a return to court and to decrease the stress of two family homes for the children. Co-Parenting therapy is available via telehealth for your ease and comfort.
